WRAB 107.1 FM
Arab, Alabama's hometown radio station since 1961 - live country music, free classifieds, and the legendary Helping Hand Show with Archie Anderson every weekday morning.
Arab, Alabama is the heart of WRAB 107.1 FM Helping Hand Radio. Since October 25, 1961 - when Marshall County Broadcasting Inc. launched WRAB 1380 AM as the first radio station serving the Brindlee Mountain area of North Alabama - this station has been the community voice of Arab and all of Marshall County. Today, WRAB 107.1 FM brings that same tradition to the digital age with live streaming, free classifieds, and country music that feels like home.
The Helping Hand Show has been on the air since the station's earliest years - a live call-in bulletin board, swap shop, and community marketplace where Arab-area residents buy, sell, trade, and connect. Hosted by the legendary Archie Anderson since 1974, the show airs Monday through Saturday, 9:00–9:30 a.m. and is the most popular program on the station, now in its sixth decade. If you need to reach Arab, this is how you do it.
WRAB has deep roots in Arab journalism - the station was once housed alongside the Arab Tribune newspaper, and Archie Anderson himself writes for the Tribune covering city council and school board. In June 2020 the station was purchased by Fun Media Group, which also operates WAFN 92.7, WTNK 93.5, and Fun 104.9, bringing new resources while keeping that small-town community spirit alive every single morning on 107.1 FM.
